The Orcutt Union School District CARES Team provides a structured response to staff-referred students exhibiting the highest levels of concerning behaviors. The team's focus is to ensure these students receive targeted resources and interventions.

Staff-Referral Focused, High-Risk

Provide a Centralized Response System

Serve as a dedicated resource for staff to refer serious concerns regarding student behaviors that indicate high risk.

Ensure Comprehensive and Objective Evaluation

Implement a structured process to collect and analyze detailed information, allowing for a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by students exhibiting high-risk behaviors.

Facilitate Tailored Intervention and Support

Develop and implement personalized intervention plans that address the unique needs of students demonstrating the most severe concerns, based on staff referrals.

Prioritize Student Safety

Focus on proactive intervention and support to mitigate potential risks and ensure the safety of all students and the broader school community.

Maintain Strict Confidentiality

Adhere to stringent confidentiality guidelines in all data handling and team operations.

Facilitate Access to Essential Resources
